Set Up Google APIs for Photo Supreme
Introduction
Photo Supreme is a program that helps you organize and manage your photos. It does this by letting you add categories, labels, and descriptions to your images so they are easier to find later.
To make organizing photos easier and faster, Photo Supreme includes several helpful tools. Some of these tools use artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically create descriptions or suggest labels for your photos. Other tools use Google Maps to show where photos were taken or to look up location details using GPS information stored in the image.
Photo Supreme can also use Google Vision, which looks at what is in a photo and suggests labels, objects, or landmarks based on the image content.
These Google features work through Google’s online services, called Google Cloud. To use them in Photo Supreme, you need to create your own Google API key. This key allows Photo Supreme to connect to Google’s services on your behalf.
Google Cloud services like Gemini (AI), Vision, and Maps are not completely free. However, they usually include a monthly free allowance, which is often enough for normal home use or low-volume usage.

To help reduce costs, Photo Supreme saves (caches) results from Google Maps and Google Vision so it does not make the same requests more than once.
